Look around, Gangstas, Players, Druggies
They learnt it all on TV...
Instead of following that crowd
And internalizing their beliefs
Another path is available
Caring people to point out a direction
Share the struggle of adolescence today
To see these others
"Doing" and caring
Supplements the core values
Of the home environment...
Participation is voluntary
The level of support
And encouragement
Is the key
Initially I was hoping for a level of proficiency
And a love of the game to develop
The love was instantaneous
And the proficiency irrelevant...
The experiment was intriguing from the start
And the results have been extraordinary...
